On beatcorelab, artists browse quickly. Your beat intro determines if they stay or skip:
Great intro techniques:
- Start with your catchiest melody element
- Use a unique sound effect or riser
- Keep intros under 8 bars
- Don't start with just a kick pattern
I analyzed my top-performing beats on beatcorelab and they ALL have strong intros. The beats with generic 16-bar drum intros get skipped.
