Chord progressions that sell beats
Posted by KenNYX (Producer) in production-tips
After analyzing my best-selling beats on beatcorelab, these chord progressions consistently work:
1. i - VI - III - VII (dark/emotional)
2. I - V - vi - IV (pop/feel-good)
3. i - iv - v - i (minor bounce)
4. II - V - I (jazzy/sophisticated)
Add 7ths and 9ths for color. Use inversions to smooth voice leading. The emotion in your chords is what makes artists want to write to your beats.
beatcorelab artists love melodic, emotional beats. What progressions work for you?
